Abstract:GUI grounding is a critical capability for enabling GUI agents to execute tasks such as clicking and dragging. However, in complex scenarios like the ScreenSpot-Pro benchmark, existing models often suffer from suboptimal performance. Utilizing the proposed \textbf{Masked Prediction Distribution (MPD)} attribution method, we identify that the primary sources of errors are twofold: high image resolution (leading to precision bias) and intricate interface elements (resulting in ambiguity bias). To address these challenges, we introduce \textbf{Bias-Aware Manipulation Inference (BAMI)}, which incorporates two key manipulations, coarse-to-fine focus and candidate selection, to effectively mitigate these biases. Our extensive experimental results demonstrate that BAMI significantly enhances the accuracy of various GUI grounding models in a training-free setting. For instance, applying our method to the TianXi-Action-7B model boosts its accuracy on the ScreenSpot-Pro benchmark from 51.9\% to 57.8\%. Furthermore, ablation studies confirm the robustness of the BAMI approach across diverse parameter configurations, highlighting its stability and effectiveness. Abstract:Multi-turn, long-horizon tasks are increasingly common for large language models (LLMs), but solving them typically requires many sequential model invocations, accumulating substantial inference costs. Here, we study cost-aware multi-turn LLM routing: selecting which model to invoke at each turn from a model pool, given a fixed cost budget. We propose MTRouter, which encodes the interaction history and candidate models into joint history-model embeddings, and learns an outcome estimator from logged trajectories to predict turn-level model utility. Experiments show that MTRouter improves the performance-cost trade-off: on ScienceWorld, it surpasses GPT-5 while reducing total cost by 58.7%; on Humanity's Last Exam (HLE), it achieves competitive accuracy while reducing total cost by 43.4% relative to GPT-5, and these gains even carry over to held-out tasks. Further analyses reveal several mechanisms underlying its effectiveness: relative to prior multi-turn routers, MTRouter makes fewer model switches, is more tolerant to transient errors, and exhibits emergent specialization across models. Abstract:Amodal segmentation is a challenging task that aims to predict the complete geometric shape of objects, including their occluded regions. Although existing methods primarily focus on amodal segmentation within the training domain, these approaches often lack the generalization capacity to extend effectively to novel object categories and unseen contexts. This paper introduces Amodal SAM, a unified framework that leverages SAM (Segment Anything Model) for both amodal image and amodal video segmentation. Amodal SAM preserves the powerful generalization ability of SAM while extending its inherent capabilities to the amodal segmentation task. The improvements lie in three aspects: (1) a lightweight Spatial Completion Adapter that enables occluded region reconstruction, (2) a Target-Aware Occlusion Synthesis (TAOS) pipeline that addresses the scarcity of amodal annotations by generating diverse synthetic training data, and (3) novel learning objectives that enforce regional consistency and topological regularization. Extensive experiments demonstrate that Amodal SAM achieves state-of-the-art performance on standard benchmarks, while simultaneously exhibiting robust generalization to novel scenarios. We anticipate that this research will advance the field toward practical amodal segmentation systems capable of operating effectively in unconstrained real-world environments.
Abstract:Reinforcement Learning (RL) has emerged as a powerful training paradigm for LLM-based agents. However, scaling agentic RL for deep research remains constrained by two coupled challenges: hand-crafted synthetic data fails to elicit genuine real-world search capabilities, and real-world search dependency during RL training introduces instability and prohibitive cost, which limits the scalability of Agentic RL. LiteResearcher is a training framework that makes Agentic RL scalable: by constructing a lite virtual world that mirrors real-world search dynamics, we enable a continuously improving training recipe that empowers a tiny search agent to outperform large-scale open-source and commercial models (e.g., Tongyi DeepResearch and Claude-4.5 Sonnet). Specifically, on common benchmarks such as GAIA and Xbench, our LiteResearcher-4B achieves open-source state-of-the-art results of 71.3% and 78.0% respectively, demonstrating that scalable RL training is a key enabler for Deep Research Agents.
Abstract:Global navigation information and local scene understanding are two crucial components of autonomous driving systems. However, our experimental results indicate that many end-to-end autonomous driving systems tend to over-rely on local scene understanding while failing to utilize global navigation information. These systems exhibit weak correlation between their planning capabilities and navigation input, and struggle to perform navigation-following in complex scenarios. To overcome this limitation, we propose the Sequential Navigation Guidance (SNG) framework, an efficient representation of global navigation information based on real-world navigation patterns. The SNG encompasses both navigation paths for constraining long-term trajectories and turn-by-turn (TBT) information for real-time decision-making logic. We constructed the SNG-QA dataset, a visual question answering (VQA) dataset based on SNG that aligns global and local planning. Additionally, we introduce an efficient model SNG-VLA that fuses local planning with global planning. The SNG-VLA achieves state-of-the-art performance through precise navigation information modeling without requiring auxiliary loss functions from perception tasks. Project page: SNG-VLA
Abstract:We introduce JoyAI-LLM Flash, an efficient Mixture-of-Experts (MoE) language model designed to redefine the trade-off between strong performance and token efficiency in the sub-50B parameter regime. JoyAI-LLM Flash is pretrained on a massive corpus of 20 trillion tokens and further optimized through a rigorous post-training pipeline, including supervised fine-tuning (SFT), Direct Preference Optimization (DPO), and large-scale reinforcement learning (RL) across diverse environments. To improve token efficiency, JoyAI-LLM Flash strategically balances \emph{thinking} and \emph{non-thinking} cognitive modes and introduces FiberPO, a novel RL algorithm inspired by fibration theory that decomposes trust-region maintenance into global and local components, providing unified multi-scale stability control for LLM policy optimization. To enhance architectural sparsity, the model comprises 48B total parameters while activating only 2.7B parameters per forward pass, achieving a substantially higher sparsity ratio than contemporary industry leading models of comparable scale. To further improve inference throughput, we adopt a joint training-inference co-design that incorporates dense Multi-Token Prediction (MTP) and Quantization-Aware Training (QAT). We release the checkpoints for both JoyAI-LLM-48B-A3B Base and its post-trained variants on Hugging Face to support the open-source community.
Abstract:While deep reasoning with long chain-of-thought has dramatically improved large language models in verifiable domains like mathematics, its effectiveness for open-ended tasks such as writing remains unexplored. In this paper, we conduct a systematic investigation revealing that existing mainstream reasoning models achieve limited gains on open-ended writing tasks. Our further analysis shows that these models lack deep reflection and revision patterns in open-ended writing, resulting in substantially smaller improvements compared to mathematical reasoning tasks. To address this limitation, we introduce R2-Write: an automated framework that synthesizes high-quality thinking trajectories enriched with explicit reflection and revision patterns through iterative writer-judge interaction. To prevent redundant reflections, we design a process reward mechanism that supervises reflection quality during reinforcement learning, improving both performance and token efficiency. Extensive experiments across multiple creative writing and deep-research benchmarks demonstrate significant improvements, validating that explicitly incorporating reflection and revision patterns unlocks deep reasoning capabilities for open-ended writing tasks.
Abstract:Foundation models have demonstrated remarkable success across diverse domains and tasks, primarily due to the thrive of large-scale, diverse, and high-quality datasets. However, in the field of medical imaging, the curation and assembling of such medical datasets are highly challenging due to the reliance on clinical expertise and strict ethical and privacy constraints, resulting in a scarcity of large-scale unified medical datasets and hindering the development of powerful medical foundation models. In this work, we present the largest survey to date of medical image datasets, covering over 1,000 open-access datasets with a systematic catalog of their modalities, tasks, anatomies, annotations, limitations, and potential for integration. Our analysis exposes a landscape that is modest in scale, fragmented across narrowly scoped tasks, and unevenly distributed across organs and modalities, which in turn limits the utility of existing medical image datasets for developing versatile and robust medical foundation models. To turn fragmentation into scale, we propose a metadata-driven fusion paradigm (MDFP) that integrates public datasets with shared modalities or tasks, thereby transforming multiple small data silos into larger, more coherent resources. Building on MDFP, we release an interactive discovery portal that enables end-to-end, automated medical image dataset integration, and compile all surveyed datasets into a unified, structured table that clearly summarizes their key characteristics and provides reference links, offering the community an accessible and comprehensive repository. By charting the current terrain and offering a principled path to dataset consolidation, our survey provides a practical roadmap for scaling medical imaging corpora, supporting faster data discovery, more principled dataset creation, and more capable medical foundation models.
Abstract:We present THEMIS, a novel multi-task benchmark designed to comprehensively evaluate multimodal large language models (MLLMs) on visual fraud reasoning within real-world academic scenarios. Compared to existing benchmarks, THEMIS introduces three major advances. (1) Real-World Scenarios and Complexity: Our benchmark comprises over 4,000 questions spanning seven scenarios, derived from authentic retracted-paper cases and carefully curated multimodal synthetic data. With 60.47% complex-texture images, THEMIS bridges the critical gap between existing benchmarks and the complexity of real-world academic fraud. (2) Fraud-Type Diversity and Granularity: THEMIS systematically covers five challenging fraud types and introduces 16 fine-grained manipulation operations. On average, each sample undergoes multiple stacked manipulation operations, with the diversity and difficulty of these manipulations demanding a high level of visual fraud reasoning from the models. (3) Multi-Dimensional Capability Evaluation: We establish a mapping from fraud types to five core visual fraud reasoning capabilities, thereby enabling an evaluation that reveals the distinct strengths and specific weaknesses of different models across these core capabilities. Experiments on 16 leading MLLMs show that even the best-performing model, GPT-5, achieves an overall performance of only 56.15%, demonstrating that our benchmark presents a stringent test. We expect THEMIS to advance the development of MLLMs for complex, real-world fraud reasoning tasks.
Abstract:We introduce Intern-S1-Pro, the first one-trillion-parameter scientific multimodal foundation model. Scaling to this unprecedented size, the model delivers a comprehensive enhancement across both general and scientific domains. Beyond stronger reasoning and image-text understanding capabilities, its intelligence is augmented with advanced agent capabilities. Simultaneously, its scientific expertise has been vastly expanded to master over 100 specialized tasks across critical science fields, including chemistry, materials, life sciences, and earth sciences. Achieving this massive scale is made possible by the robust infrastructure support of XTuner and LMDeploy, which facilitates highly efficient Reinforcement Learning (RL) training at the 1-trillion parameter level while ensuring strict precision consistency between training and inference. By seamlessly integrating these advancements, Intern-S1-Pro further fortifies the fusion of general and specialized intelligence, working as a Specializable Generalist, demonstrating its position in the top tier of open-source models for general capabilities, while outperforming proprietary models in the depth of specialized scientific tasks.
